This policy is written for how our website works today. It is practical guidance for visitors and clients, not a substitute for advice from a Ghanaian lawyer. We recommend periodic review with counsel and registration checks with the Data Protection Commission.

We are a graphic design and advertising company based in Tema, Ghana. We offer design and corporate identity, outdoor advertising and signage, commercial printing, photography, laser engraving and cutting, CNC routing, and related creative production.
Our sister shop, myOwn Ghana (myowngh.com), is a separate online property. Purchases and accounts there are governed by myOwn’s own policies unless we expressly say otherwise.
2. Scope and applicable law
This Privacy Policy covers personal information when you:
- Visit or use http://whitebeamconcepts.com (the “Site”);
- Submit an enquiry through our online contact form;
- Email, call, or message us using contact details published on the Site;
- Interact with our official pages on third-party platforms (for example Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, or YouTube).
We process personal data consistently with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana and guidance of the Data Protection Commission, other applicable Ghanaian law, and reasonable international practice for a marketing site that serves clients across borders.
3. Personal data we collect
3.1 Information you give us
When you use the contact form or get in touch another way, we may collect:

We do not collect payment card details on this Site. Payments for services are handled offline or through channels we agree with you separately.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- IP address, used especially to protect the contact form against spam and abuse (rate limiting);
- Browser type, device type, and standard technical request metadata in server logs;
- Pages requested, approximate time of visit, and referring URL where your browser provides it;
- A small session storage value on your device so the introductory page loader is not shown again in the same browser session (
wbc-loader-seen). This is not used to build a marketing profile across visits.
3.3 What we do not intentionally collect via the Site
We do not intentionally collect special-category data (for example health, biometrics, or religious beliefs) through the website. Please do not include that information in the contact form. If you send it unsolicited, we will only process it as needed to respond or delete it.
4. Is providing data mandatory?
Under Act 843, we tell you clearly when information is required. For website enquiries:
- Required on the contact form: full name, email address, and message (so we can understand and reply).
- Optional: phone number and service selection. Providing them helps us respond faster but is not compulsory.
If you do not provide required fields, we may be unable to process your enquiry or send a meaningful reply. Browsing public pages of the Site does not require you to submit personal details.
5. How we use personal data
We use personal data only for legitimate business purposes, including to:
- Respond to enquiries and discuss potential projects, quotes, or meetings;
- Provide and manage services you engage us to deliver, including project communication;
- Operate and secure the Site (spam, abuse, fraud, and technical attacks; form rate limiting);
- Improve our website and services using aggregate patterns (for example which services people ask about);
- Send follow-up communications related to your request or project (we do not sell your contact details for third-party marketing lists);
- Comply with legal obligations and defend our legal rights;
- Maintain business records (quotes, invoices, contracts, project files) for accounting and professional practice.
Depending on the activity, we rely on one or more of:
- Consent (for example when you submit the form);
- Steps toward or performance of a contract (project discussions and delivery);

6. How we share personal data (recipients)
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it only with:

7. International transfers
Our primary operations are in Ghana. Some service providers (for example cloud email or hosting) may process data on servers outside Ghana. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps toward an adequate level of protection consistent with Act 843 and good industry practice (reputable providers and contractual safeguards where available).
8. How long we keep data

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures, including:

- Restricting access to enquiry and client information to people who need it;
- Using reputable third-party email and hosting providers;
- Encouraging secure channels for sensitive project assets.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Please avoid sending passwords, payment card numbers, or highly sensitive credentials through the public contact form.
10. Your rights
Subject to Act 843 and other applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Request deletion or restriction of processing in certain circumstances;
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (this does not undo prior lawful processing);
- Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission of Ghana (dataprotection.org.gh).

11. Cookies and similar technologies
At the time of this policy, the Site is a marketing and information website. We may use strictly necessary or functional storage (including the loader preference above), security and spam-prevention on forms, and hosting technologies that keep the Site running.
We do not currently run advertising pixels or analytics cookies on the Site. If we later add analytics, advertising pixels, or non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and, where required, seek appropriate consent or provide clear opt-out information.
Third-party platforms (social networks, maps embeds if used, email providers) have their own cookies and privacy policies when you leave our Site or load their content.
12. Children
We do not knowingly target or collect personal data from children under 18 through the Site. If you believe a minor has submitted personal data, contact us so we can delete it.
13. Portfolio, photography, and project materials
Our Site displays photographs and case studies of work we have produced. Where individuals appear in project photography:
- We process such images for legitimate business presentation of our services;
- Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the rights and permissions needed for brand assets and, where applicable, people featured in shoots they commission;
- If you are depicted and want an image removed or adjusted for privacy reasons, contact us and we will review the request in good faith.
14. Third-party links and social media
The Site may link to external sites (portfolio references, partner brands, social networks, and myOwn Ghana). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their policies before providing personal data.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may also be highlighted on the Site. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes notice of the revised policy for website visitors; for existing contractual relationships, additional notice may apply as required by law.
